How long does approval take?

All applications are reviewed within 24–72 hours.

Do you accept unpublished books?

No. We only feature already published books.

Do you handle printing or shipping?

No. All fulfillment is handled through the original publishing platform (such as Amazon KDP).

What types of books do you feature?

Children’s books and coloring books by Black women authors and diaspora creators.

We operate on a 70/30 model where authors receive 70% and the platform receives 30% for curation and visibility.

Legacy & Light Bookstore Hub curates children’s books + coloring books that teach African heritage, affirm identity, and celebrate culture. Authors keep 100% rights + 70% of Hub sales.

Dr. Cathy Nti

Founder, Legacy & Light Bookstore Hub

Dr. Cathy Nti is a Black woman author, educator, and founder of Legacy & Light Bookstore Hub. She created this platform to amplify Black women authors writing children’s books and coloring books for Black/Brown kids ages 0-21.

Her mission: Help our children know their African heritage, see their beauty in the mirror, and celebrate culture through story, language, music, and art.
